‘Ohana bread pudding recipe

September 10, 2020 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

What is your favorite Disney dessert? It can be hard to decide because there are so many tasty items, but the ‘Ohana bread pudding is definitely towards the top of the list. Of course it’s really the sauce on the bread pudding that’s the highlight – a bananas foster caramel sauce. Yum! I don’t know […]

‘Ohana pineapple coconut bread recipe

I’ve been inspired to cook with a lot of tropical flavors lately – this summer has been extra hot here and I love how refreshing cooking with fruit is! So recreating many of the recipes from ‘Ohana is a fun project I’ve been working on. So far I’ve made the honey coriander chicken wings, stir […]

S’mores cupcake recipe

August 25, 2020 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

You can actually find a s’mores cupcake in quite a few different places in Disney World. In the past you could find a massive one at Boardwalk Bakery (I think it’s seasonal) as well as at Sprinkles in Disney Springs. But one place where you can (almost) always find a s’mores cupcake is at Roaring […]

‘Ohana salad recipe

In my quest to recreate many of the dishes from ‘Ohana, I put together this ‘Ohana salad recipe! While the salad isn’t usually the highlight of the meal at ‘Ohana (you want to leave room for all of that meat and dessert!), it’s a good tropical salad and quite delicious and easy to make at […]

Ohana dumplings recipe

Lately one of the restaurants I’ve been missing is ‘Ohana – especially with the tropical flavors of Hawaiian and Asian fusion, it feels like the perfect food for summer. So I’ve been trying to recreate some ‘Ohana favorites in my own kitchen. So far I’ve done the honey coriander wings and stir-fry noodles. Today I’m […]

Wild passion fruit margarita recipe

July 28, 2020 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

I’ve been experimenting with lots of different margaritas. La Cava del Tequila from the Epcot Mexico pavilion had been sharing recipes on their instagram, but there were some on the menu that I wanted to try that they didn’t share (or if they did, I missed it) – like this wild passion fruit margarita recipe. […]

Stir-fry noodle recipe from Ohana

The Polynesian has so many great places to eat, and I love the flavors that are often infused with pineapple, coconut, honey, etc. Ohana is a super fun place to get dinner with tons of food. Even though I can’t eat there in person any time soon, I’ve been having a good time recreating some […]

Beijing-style Candied Strawberries recipe

July 14, 2020 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

The Epcot Flower and Garden Festival has been around for awhile, but it was only in 2013 that they introduced food booths to this festival. One item that was popular right away was the Beijing-style candied strawberries, served at the Lotus House in China. They had them every year for about 6 years, until they […]

Honey coriander wings recipe from Ohana

July 7, 2020 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

I used to avoid eating wings because they are pretty messy and seemed like a lot of work. However, since moving to the area of Pennsylvania I’m currently in I’ve been introduced to a few really good barbecue places and breweries, and I am developing a fondness for tasty wings – especially if they have […]

One of my new favorite things to do with the extra free time I’ve had right now is cooking and baking more. And of course cooking is even more fun when you’re creating Disney inspired recipes! I’ve worked on over 30 Disney parks recipes that include snacks and desserts, entrees, drinks, and more. It really […]

About Me

Hi, I'm Becky!

I'm a huge Disney fan in my early 30's and always trying to find a way to put a little bit of Disney into everyday life. I live in Pennsylvania but travel to the theme parks several times a year - I'm an annual passholder at Disney World! In addition to Disney I love traveling, running, and theater.
