I’ve always loved participating in blog hops – if you’re not familiar, that is when one blog picks a topic for a week or month, usually under a theme, and any other blogs that want to participate write about that same topic. Then they all share their links on one page so people can check out what everyone has to say on the matter. I’ve never had a good idea to host my own, but lately I had what I’m hoping will be a fun idea!
I recently went back through some of my photos from old Disney trips – I’m talking 1997, when the castle was a big pink birthday cake. I thought it was so fascinating to see how Disney has changed, and I wanted to see what photos or stories other people might have to share. And that’s how the idea of hosting a TBT (or Throwback Thursday) blog hop was born.
I’ve decided to make it fairly simple: you can share photos or stories of past Disney trips, and it doesn’t matter how long ago they were – maybe a year ago, maybe 30 years ago! The hop will be hosted once a month, on the first Thursday of every month. And while each week will have a theme, they will be rather broad categories and you are more than welcome to post a TBT post that is different from that week’s theme.
The first hop will happen on Thursday, May 7th, and the theme will be Magic Kingdom! I hope you are as excited about this as I am, and I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what you have to share!
