Frozen 2 review

November 25, 2019 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

When I shared that I had seen Frozen 2, the first question everyone asked me is simply “How was it?” Obviously that’s a pretty involved question but I’ll start this review by saying that my answer to that question has been “It wasn’t as good as the first one, but it was an enjoyable movie.” […]

Dinner at Chefs de France

October 10, 2019 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

While on a short trip last month, I made a few last minute dining reservations (about a month ahead of time). One of the places we decided to have dinner was at Chefs de France in Epcot. I hadn’t eaten here since my honeymoon (in 2011) so I was interested in trying it again! Things […]

Three Bridges Bar & Grill at Coronado Springs

September 18, 2019 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

Since we stayed at Coronado Springs during our last trip to Disney World, I was interested in trying at least one of the new restaurants. We decided to do Three Bridges, which is located in the center of the lake at Coronado with three bridges connecting it to the other areas – hence the name. […]

Grand Floridian Cafe breakfast review

August 29, 2019 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

I’ve eaten dinner at the Grand Floridian Cafe before, but this was the first time I got to experience breakfast. Located in the Grand Floridian resort, this is an easy trip from Magic Kingdom. In our case we started our day with breakfast here before hopping on the monorail to go to the parks. The […]

What to expect at City Works in Disney Springs

August 8, 2019 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

Disney Springs has seen many new restaurants open lately, with more still to come – but one that I am particularly excited about is City Works Eatery & Pour House! They’re going to have fantastic food and beer, and I happen to know that because we have a City Works right in the town where […]

What dinner is like at the NEW Lamplight Lounge

July 31, 2019 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

While I don’t get to spend as much time in Disneyland as I do in Disney World, I certainly try to take advantage of the time that I do have there! When we went for a quick weekend trip the weekend of  Galaxy’s Edge opening, I knew there were a few restaurants I needed to […]

The Lion King live action review

July 22, 2019 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

The live action version of The Lion King is a good movie. It is only a good movie because it is a re-creation of an amazing movie that had a fantastic plot, soundtrack, and dialogue, but it is an inferior re-creation. If we lived in a world where the animated Lion King didn’t exist, I […]

Heartless book review

July 11, 2019 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

If you know me, you know I love books! (I’m a librarian, after all). So when I can combine my love of reading with something Disney-related it’s a win-win. We read this book for my online Disney book club, and since I read it I thought some of my blog readers might appreciate a Heartless […]

Toy Story 4 review

June 24, 2019 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

One of my favorite movie series is The Muppets, and I’ve particularly enjoyed the newest movies. In the Muppets Most Wanted they sing a song about doing a sequel where they poke fun at the movie’s own existence – and one of the lines of the song is “We’re doing a sequel, the studio wants […]

Aladdin live action review

May 28, 2019 by beckyginther@gmail.com Leave a Comment

Disney has been going strong with the live action remakes of classic animated films, and they’ve been hit or miss – both with the public and myself.  While I loved Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast, I hated Maleficent and Dumbo.  Aladdin had faced a fair bit of criticism before release, both due to Will […]

About Me

Hi, I'm Becky!

I'm a huge Disney fan in my early 30's and always trying to find a way to put a little bit of Disney into everyday life. I live in Pennsylvania but travel to the theme parks several times a year - I'm an annual passholder at Disney World! In addition to Disney I love traveling, running, and theater.
