Mother’s Day will be here before you know it, and it’s time to get mom something special! If mom’s a Disney fan, there are lots of great, unique options that you can get her to show how much you care. Here’s a look at some of my favorites:
If Mom is into make-up, Besame Cosmetics creates high quality products with a vintage look, and they’ve recently started some Disney lines! They have a Snow White line with a number of gorgeous eye shadows and lipsticks, as well as some really cute accessories, and recently introduced an Agent Carter line with some gorgeous 1940’s lip colors.
A surprise box of Disney goodies from Gifts from Mickey might be just what Mom needs to lift her spirits, directly from the theme parks! I think it’s perfect for both casual fans and more serious fans. Casual fans will love all of the little Disney touches, while huge Disney fans should be impressed with the variety of items (if you’re worried Mom might already have something, this could be a good solution – the box is typically filled with items exclusive to the parks, new things, or from the current festivals!). There’s a variety of different boxes for varying price points and with different themes.
Does Mom love to cook? Perhaps some items from the new official Disney Eats collection would be right up her alley! Dish towels, trivets, cookie cutters, and more are fun ways to add a little Disney magic to the kitchen. Or perhaps a Disney cookbook full of official recipes from the Disney theme parks would be the perfect gift!
Most Disney fans can never have too many t-shirts – so may I recommend one from my new Redbubble shop? There are a number of fun shirt options and I’ll be adding more all the time. Whether she’s a Disney foodie (There’s a Rumbly in my Tumbly), Animal Kingdom Lover (This is my Kingdom), ready to relax on her next Disney cruise (On Cruise Control), or something else, there’s bound to be a shirt she loves.
If Mom might like a way to add a classy Disney touch to her home, Etsy is my favorite place to look for Disney Decor. You can find almost anything – pillows, wall signs, coasters, wreaths, artwork, and more. In particular I’m a big fan of the “In this home” sign that lists all of the adorable things that might happen in a Disney house.
I know if there’s a go-to gift for my mother-in-law, it would be coffee! I absolutely love Expedition Roasters for Disney inspired coffee. One of my favorites, if you’re into something more unique, is the Skipper’s brew, which has a banana flavor. However they have lots of flavors to choose from so there’s sure to be something for every coffee loving mom.
Jewelry is always a traditional gift for mom, but how about some with a little Disney twist? There are so many places you can get Disney jewelry, but I love Amazon for affordable pieces that are still really pretty, and they have a huge variety. I’m partial to this necklace that says “If you can dream it, you can do it.”
A Disney trip!
Of course, the best gift you could possibly give mom is to take her on a trip to Disney! When it’s just a trip for you and mom or you take the whole family, this is one of the best ways you can show your appreciation. And as a travel agent I’d be happy to help plan that trip! I can make recommendations for mom, whether she’s into more traditional stuff (like tea at the Grand Floridian) or something a little more outside of the box (like Wild Africa trek). Shoot me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and I’ll be able to provide my assistance with booking your trip free of charge to you!
