Unless you’re rarely on Facebook, chances are you’ve heard of (and/or are addicted to) LuLaRoe. This clothing company has a unique approach to the items they create. They have a number of different styles of clothing and different patterns in these styles. The catch is this: there are only a limited number of styles in each pattern, and they are distributed randomly to different sellers all over the country. So the many people who sell LuLaRoe all have different inventory, which both makes shopping more challenging and more fun – it’s almost like a treasure hunt to find something you like! Or an exciting surprise to see what your favorite LuLaRoe sellers have gotten recently.
They are most well known for their extremely soft leggings, but they also have a number of cute tops, dresses, and skirts. By far the most exciting announcement for me though was when LuLaRoe partnered up with Disney to create the LuLaRoe collection for Disney. You can find these items from any LuLaRoe seller who chooses to carry the Disney line. One of my good friends, Kim, has been selling Lula for a year now, and she was able to get some cute Disney stuff – so of course I couldn’t resist!
One of the best things about LuLaRoe is that it’s all very comfortable clothing. I’ve seen the Disney collection available in leggings, Randy (a three quarter length baseball style tee), Irma (an oversized hi-lo top that works well over leggings), the classic tee (my favorite top), Carly (a dress), and the Cassie (a pencil skirt). I’m still praying we will see some Disney patterns for the Madison, which is my personal favorite skirt!
When Kim got her Disney stuff I was so excited to check it out, and picked up two items to wear for the D23 Expo! The first was a Randy shirt. It had a pattern with Minnie Mouse on it and solid black sleeves. I paired it with a plain black Azure skirt (also from LuLaRoe). I really liked the Randy/Azure combo together! And in the convention center, which could get pretty chilly, I was grateful for the ¾ sleeves. It would also be perfect for those cooler days at Disney in Florida.
There are so many cute patterns of leggings that it is really hard not to buy tons of them, but I picked out my favorite from Kim’s collection. There are a fun blue color with light yellow and pink Minnie Mouses that have a “sketch” feel to them. I love the colors and think it’s a really fun design. The leggings are ridiculously comfortable, and they are great for wearing in the theme park. I wore them both at D23 and this past weekend in Disney World! After sitting around for an hour to wait for fireworks I was very happy to be comfy and still rocking some Disney that night!
For the first few months most of the designs released were Mickey and Minnie themed, and there has been some super cute stuff! At the D23 Expo there was a LuLaRoe booth, and we got a peek at some of the other patterns coming. Some of these have already started hitting inventories – I’ve seen The Muppets, The Little Mermaid, and Bambi for sale already. But there were some great other things we saw there too, including villains, Toy Story, Winnie the Pooh, and a really fun castle pattern that I’m dying to get.
I am excited (and my wallet is not!) to see all of the new things to come for the Disney Collection by LuLaRoe! To see Kim’s offerings in both the Disney collection and the rest of LuLaRoe, be sure to join her facebook group and like her facebook page!
Do you enjoy LuLaRoe? Is it something you’d like to try? Which Disney pattern is your favorite?
