Update: A number of people have reported not receiving boxes after signing up – and some were charged for them. I don’t know what’s going on but wanted to let people know. If I hear anything else I will keep you updated!
Park Sack sent me a box for free for this review, but all opinions are entirely my own.
Today I’ve got another great subscription box to bring to you! This one is called Park Sack and there are a couple of things that I’m particularly excited about with this one. Perhaps the biggest is that it caters to Orlando theme park fans and not just Disney fans – so they have a Disney box, a Universal box, and also a Disney/Universal combo box! Despite some supposed rivalry between the two parks I know many people who really enjoy both. While I’m primarily a Disney fan the Universal stuff has really been growing on me, especially since they added Harry Potter!
I received the Disney box this month, which contains 2-4 items directly from the theme parks and retails for $29.99. Park Sack is a brand new company (only their second month operating) so I was impressed by how organized everything was and how easy their website is to navigate. They will soon be offering custom boxes, and currently on their website they have a Halloween themed box! That one looks super cool and I love that they are looking to offer specialty boxes!
But it gets better – if you’re interested, you can get 25% off your first box using the code ‘DISNEYDAY’! That’s an awesome deal.
Let’s take a look at what was inside:
Space Mountain coaster
I’ve seen these coasters around the parks for a number of attractions (I even took a picture of the Kilimanjaro Safaris one last trip as “something I want to buy but can’t spend the money right now). I really love the Space Mountain one I was sent and I’m excited to have one of these! It’s got the cool sort of retro looking artwork on it and it’s a really nice, ceramic, sturdy coaster. I have a very eclectic coaster collection from coasters I’ve gotten all over the world so this will fit right in.
Mickey bar antenna topper
Antenna toppers are so cute – it’s one of those things that I see them and always want to buy them, but I never actually do. That may be because I don’t have an antenna on my car. However, now that I have this adorable Mickey bar one I’ve been researching other things to do with them. I’ve seen some super cute craft projects, including putting them on top of sticks are creating a “bouquet” of them. Now I need more – maybe that will be a future Disney DIY blog post?
Flavored Disney popcorn is pretty delicious, and I’m a huge fan of both popcorn and churros so how can you go wrong? I may have just finished a bag of Disney popcorn from my last trip, so now I’ve got a replacement 😉 Good timing!
If you read my blog regularly, you know I have a bit of an obsession with Disney mugs. So every time I see a mug in a package I get super excited! This one was a Pinocchio mug. I don’t have much Pinocchio stuff, and the artwork is really cute. It’s different in style from any of the other mugs I have. Chances are good you’ll see this one pop up again on the blog in a mug of the month feature!
Overall I was super impressed with Park Sack. I like that it’s not really overpriced, and everything in the package I genuinely liked. It all comes from on Disney property and is real theme park merchandise. If you want to check it out, be sure to use the code DISNEYDAY for a big 25% off your first order!
