The TBT (Throwback Thursday) blog hop is a fun blog hop/link up I created for Disney blogs to share their photos or stories from Disney trips in the past! It will happen once a month, on the first Thursday of every month. This month we’ll be sharing photos and pictures of romance – but you don’t have to follow the theme, you can share any old photos you want!
If you have a blog and would like to participate, we’d be happy to have you. Just create a post that contains photos or stories from Disney in days past: it can be from one year ago, 5 years ago, or 30 years ago – whatever you want to do. If you don’t have a blog but would still like to participate, let me know and I can get something up on my own blog for you. If you will be participating, here are the rules:
◾Add your link below to the link up!
◾Please try to visit the other blogs that are in the hop and leave them comments. What goes around, comes around!
◾If possible, post a blurb about the blog hop in your blog or on Facebook, and provide some sort of link back to this page – or add the InLinkz code at the bottom to your own page.
◾Include the TBT Blog Hop image (at the top of this post!) with your post.
◾Spread the word on your social media pages!
I chose romance as the theme for this month’s Throwback Thursday because today is my 4th wedding anniversary! While we’re celebrating in Disneyland, I wanted to share some photos of my husband and I during past Disney trips.
2011: Our Honeymoon
The first time my husband and I really went to Disney World together was on our honeymoon! (We had been with his family in Orlando the previous summer, but we were off property and only went to Disney one day – Hollywood Studios – so I don’t really count that). There were so many great photo opps during the trip, but here are a couple of my favorites!
When we rode the Tomorrowland speedway they gave us this great “just married” sign to put on the back of our car!
And we had one of the greatest character interactions with Buzz Lightyear. He saw our ears and insisted on recreating our wedding ceremony! He flipped my veil over my face, walked me down the aisle, and then became the minister to perform the ceremony.
2013: Our 2nd anniversary
During our 2nd anniversary we decided to have professional photos done by the amazing David and Vicki Arndt photography. We did them at Art of Animation and were so happy with them! Here’s one, but you can check out a bunch more here.
2015: Princess Half Marathon
On my most recent trip with my husband I completed the Glass Slipper Challenge, and he was most definitely my biggest fan! He was even willing to wear the shirt that said “My favorite Disney Princess is my wife.” He wears it to all of my races now!
