Subscription boxes are super popular right now, and there are lots of Disney-related ones out there – and now Disney themselves have released an official box. It’s called the Disney Park Pack, and it works a little differently than some of the others. You don’t sign up to get it on a recurring basis, you have to purchase it each month. They only release a certain amount of them on the first Thursday of the month, and they get snatched up quickly so you have to be on the website that morning. Right now the box has only been pins, but they say there may be other versions of the Disney Park Pack in the future.
Each box is $40 including shipping and contains 3 Disney pins – one that is a limited edition pin only available in this box (so only 750 of them exist), and the other two are open edition pins.
This month the limited edition pin is Lilo and Stitch, with Stitch eating an ice cream cone. It’s very cute and I’m sure Stitch fans will absolutely love it. Unfortunately, I’m not a huge fan of Stitch (don’t hate me!), so it’s not one of my personal favorites.
The first of the open edition pins was Remy from Ratatouille. I love Remy so I think this is a “winner” of the box for me. The other one is a Hercules pin that says “I’m kind of a big deal.” It’s funny but not really my style so I’ll probably trade it. That’s the great thing about Disney pins – trading is super popular so even if you get one you don’t want, you can trade it to get one you do like!
Overall I’m not a major pin collector so I basically got this box to take a look at it and review for the blog. I won’t get it again because I usually just get a pin or two as a souvenir from an actual visit, but I think people that are looking for fun Disney items or are big into pins would love this! The limited edition aspect is really nice, as they include something that you can only get from this box.
