Today is the anniversary for me of 1 year of blogging on Disney in your Day! I can’t believe it’s been a year. I love my blog and I’m excited that it has become what it is. On July 9th, 2013 I created my welcome post, and my first real content post went up the following day, with a review of Monsters University.
Since then I have made 148 posts and have 920 Facebook followers. I’ve held a number of giveaways and created the Etsy Gift Guide and the Running Gear Guide. I’ve also created the Disney Restaurant Tournament, which I really enjoy seeing the outcome of! In honor of this occasion I figured I’d go back and share a few of my favorite posts I’ve done in the past year. Not the most popular but just the ones that mean the most to me or that I really like!
This was one of my earliest posts, first appearing on July 12th, 2013. I had just returned from a solo trip and I was in love with it. I was able to share how great solo travel was in this post, and the response I got from it was just overwhelming! I was so impressed by how many other people enjoyed Disney by themselves, or were willing to try it and got encouragement from my post. I hope I can go on another solo trip soon!
First posted on September 20, 2013, this was one of my favorite things I’ve ever done at Disney, so it’s no surprise that I enjoyed writing about it! I also had a blast taking pictures while I was there, so I was really excited to have a place to share those pictures. We also got to see Mosi, the baby giraffe, who was experiencing only his 3rd day out on the savanna. I thought that was so cool!
October 9th, 2013 was my first game of Kill, Refurb, Marry, and the topic was perfect. I was excited to take part and Disney resorts was something that I could definitely have an opinion on! I loved the fact that it was a blog hop so I could read what other bloggers thought as well. Kill, Refurb, Marry is still going on monthly!
Completing the Enchanted 10k was a huge milestone for me, who never thought she could be a runner! This was shared on March 6, 2014. And I’m happy I could share all of my experiences of that great weekend here. And now I’m signed up for the Glass Slipper Challenge in 2015! Who knew?
This was shared on May 22, 2014, and I just love a good checklist. I’m a completionist and I know it’s my goal to stay at all of the Disney resorts – so I thought others might appreciate this as well! That and the companion Disney Restaurant Checklist were really fun to make, and even more fun to check things off of!
